I propose that the events of 9/11 were not the results of a single conspiracy, but of of a double conspiracy, a conspiracy within a conspiracy, or a double cross.
The ‘outer’ conspiracy was to stage a false-flag attack on the Pentagon intended to provide a pretext for war in Afghanistan. Such an attack would involve few or no casualties, as no actual crash was to occur. Two real United Airlines jets were to be commandeered, but these were to be landed at mixed used civilian / military airstrips in the Midwest, with Arab terrorists to take the blame. I have proposed elsewhere that such an operation could have been the work of a military PSYOP team. Again, while deception would have been intended, no large scale domestic loss of life would have been planned.
Unfortunately for these conspirators, they were to discover that they had been out-conspired. The purpose of the ‘outer’ conspiracy was simply to provide military cover for an inner conspiracy to destroy the twin towers in down-town Manhattan. The plan here was in some ways simpler – no flights were to be commandeered, but rather the attacks would be blamed on a pair of flights which never existed.
If only two of the flights actually existed, this would account for the fact that only two of the 9/11 flights ever existed in the BTS database. I am aware that in fact the South Tower was supposed to be struck by a United Airlines jet, but this may simply be an example of the inner conspiracy high-jacking an element of the outer conspiracy’s scenario. Having said that, back in 2003, Scott Loughrey noted that UA175 looked suspiciously silver in his Was 911 a Video Movie?
Curious minds also wonder why UA 175 is silver. After all, United Airlines has a grey and dark blue fleet. The silvery plane looks more like the planes flown by American Airlines.
A good observation! This would be consistent with a planned timeline having American Airlines jets striking the towers, with the pre-prepared footage depicting this.
Presumably, delays caused the scenario to be scrambled. If I correctly remember, there was a great deal of confusion on the day on what had supposedly struck where. Again, this would be consistent with a change in the officially promulgated scenario.
My gut feel is that the ‘outer’ conspiracy was known to the ‘nationalist’ elements of the United States establishment, and certain loyal elements of the military.
The inner conspiracy by contrast was controlled by ‘internationalist’ elements having great power over finance and the media. The outer conspiracy was of course known to the inner conspiracy, who may in fact have initiated it. Its purpose was to implicate patriotic, nationalist elements of the establishment in the false-flag operation. I suspect the military would not have tolerated an attack of the scale seen on 9/11 and would have risen against its perpetrators, domestic or otherwise, had they not been compromised by their involvement in the Pentagon attack. They were effectively double-crossed. It would have been very difficult to expose the attack on Manhattan while excusing their own deception in the Pentagon attack. In this way, various different, even antagonistic, elements of the U.S. establishment were bound together in silence in the wake of the attack.
